INTELSAT 901

The satellite, to be positioned at 18°W, will be operated by the International Telecommunications Satellite Organization (INTELSAT), to relay communications and television transmissions to North and South America, Europe, Africa and the Middle East. This was the first spacecraft of seven Intelsat 9-series satellites ordered from Space Systems/Loral by Intelsat. Intelsat 901 was ordered in December 1996. Intelsat 901 will become operational in October, taking over for the Intelsat 705 satellite which will be repositioned to 53°W. The 4723 kg (10,410 lbm) spacecraft carries 42 C-band and 14 Ku-band operating transponders, using the LS-1300 satellite bus. The satellite's solar arrays will generate 10 kilowatts of power (beginning of life) and 8.6 kilowatts (end of life). The satellite is designed for a 13 year life.

INTELSAT 10-02

The Intelsat-1002 is the largest and most powerful satellites ever procured by Intelsat, the international telecommunications satellite operator, to provide various communications services including fixed telephone and data services, broadcast and news gathering. The IS-10-12 is a premium landmass orbital role that will provide coverage for Europe , Africa and Middle East. Intelsat 10-02, is located at 359 degrees East, Uniquely, the IS-10-12 satellite has 3 steerable Ku-Band spot beams, 2 of which are rotatable, allowing the coverage of any visible area from 359 degree East, while providing better coverage of the target geographic market. IS-10-02's 150W TWTAs ensure the highest power available in the market today. Equipped with Automatic Level Control (ALC) feature enabling the satellite to maintain constant satellite e.i.r.p even in case of uplink signal degradation.

W6 Satellite

Located at 21.5° East, W6 is ideal for companies needing to communicate between Europe, North Africa, the Sahara, the Middle East and the Gulf region. Fine-tuned for professional communications, the satellite is perfect for applications such as VSAT networks, broadband Internet and data broadcasting. With twenty-eight simultaneously active transponders, W6 provides a widebeam coverage of Europe, North Africa, the Middle East and Central Asia, and a steerable coverage centred over North West Africa, and the Middle East.

NSS6 satellite

NSS-6 covers the whole of Asia with six high-performance Ku-band beams, which can deliver broadband media to small business, ISPs or domestic rooftop antennas in every market. The satellite delivers Direct-To-Home power and performance, as well as the best inter-regional connectivity in the satellite industry. High-gain uplink performance enables the use of small uplink antennas.
